And I am somewhat at a loss how E85 is 'sloshing' around in the boot waiting for a wayward arc spark to set off the fuel!!!!!!!
That boot layout/fitout must have been a doozy!!!!! Mike |

The broadcast showed a massive dent/possible piercing on the aluminium filler tube where the loose battery had crashed into it... perhaps this is the source of the fuel fumes that were ignited.

Clearly Campbell Little is going to have his work cut out for him to 'review' the FPR operation. If DR hadn't pulled most of it our already, he is proably flying back to the UK as a very bald man....

Tim@fordpatheticpracingteam
Dear Tim, After the problem at Bathurst, I will get the best engineering brains at Ford Motorsport to investigate the fuel ignition problem in the boot. This is a most unusual problem and will reqiure Ford's best brains to work on it, outside of the current global financial crisis this is paramount that we get this problem rectified asap. Now that we have cut ties with Roland Dane and the 888 clowns and cut back on some of the other teams we will spend big dollars looking at a fix for this problem. With Prodrive going into F1 next year we should have a fix before Bathurst 2011. Regards Ford Motorsport |

^Maybe Campbell can save them from themselves. Probably takes some of the pressure off DR.

There would be a lot less pressure if they didn't have richo on such a long contract.
One slip up from Frosty and their chances of winning would be gone. It has to be less pressure when either car can have a chance of winning, if there are problems with the other. |

Frosty looked very ordinary out of the car across the Indy weekend.. and on what he has said on the twitter account...
...his glandular fever is very serious... and must be draining him quite badly You would imagine that the contageous stage of the illness has passed? Or are the whole of FPR exposed now? |

Priceless
Another priceless weekend for FPR. No air pressure for richards on Sat,
then beautifully capped on Sunday by frosty qualifying 16th and not even making it to the first corner. That sound you heard was frosty's Championship aspirations disappearing into the sunset yet again. Another week end with SFA points. Awesome. |

I have to wonder if Frosty would be better off back with SBR. I suspect the seat in car 4 may be vacant at the end of the year. How long is Frosty contracted to FPR and does he have a 'get out' clause?
