Another Logie for Bathurst

Good to see Bathurst coverage win another logie. Congrats to those that worked on it. Not sure but i think ten won 3 for bathurst and great to see seven add another.

Seven also won the award a time or two back in the 80s.

I didn't watch the logies, was V8TV given credit for actually producing the coverage (all 7 did was air it)??

7 would claim it as the broadcast network rather than the producer. Much like 10 would claim it when Global TV did some of their sporting events.

Maybe 10 and 7 have tried to do it justice, but race control hasn't. In the last two years there has been a SC called on the first lap before the leaders got to Reid Park........ completely ruining the moment.

It was a good thing for VEST to win this award, certainly there are plenty of good people in the production team who make the thing look as good as it does.

Not to say there isnt room to improve of course

I am concerned though, at yesterday's V8XTRA, where they showed off the Logie, then, as usual, went to Briony Ingwersen's blipvert update... they talked about Owen Kelly signing for JDR, and Jonny Reid testing for JDR, yet showed pictures of Mr Owen's #45 Earthex Logistics GMR Commodore

More proofing before going to air may be nice. Please.

I can confirm this. He definitely mentioned that this was a joint venture between V8SATV and Seven.
