Honda were bad as they are too new and are not upto pace. Alfa rule the ETCC

Nice one Dirk Muller.

The Honda's are privately run and SP-spec.

Eurosport.com was streaming it live I think...
I was there and can tell you the BMWs looked awesome in the hands of the Muller boys, the Alfas did a ridiculous , (we were told 19) number of gearboxes (standard championship part)and the mechanices looked shattered.
But clearly the Alfas have a whole lot more power than anyone at the moment which isn't good for the Championship...

I just dumped the first race to MPEG, but trying to get both races to fit onto one CD when in MPEG would result in the quality being quite bad, so I'll re-dump 'em tomorrow and use Divx5 instead.

So for those interested, be prepared to download 300MB or so per race if you want to see them.

Stay tuned.

Hey rustyfan, stop teasing us with all those juicy commentary. Too bad no nice ex-ST fan can sub-title or voice dub the race commentary. OTOH, I'm getting overly greedy??? =)

Race #1 is now available at my FTP. Since I went for a fair bit of quality (as I'm using this as a substitute instead of saving the race on a VHS tape) it weighs in at around 439MB, being a 25 minute MPEG. As mentioned earlier it's the entire race, without commercial breaks, with, unfortunately, Swedish commentary.

Check my website, http://www.crashin.nu , for info on how to gain access to the FTP if you are interested.

Race #2 will be encoded to MPEG and made available tomorrow. Since it's longer - around 31 minutes - the file will, naturally, be bigger, but not so big it won't fit on a CD.
