Here it is...

Damon: Have you always watched Michael's performances.
Jenson: Yes, he's pretty cool.
Damon: What about Adelaide in 94, have you seen that?
Jenson: Yeah, it was great. He won the World Championship.
Damon: And you saw that move into the corner when he put me out of the race. That was okay?
Jenson: That was the best bit.
Damon: And what about when he knocked Villeneuve off in 97 at Jerez. You didn't see anything wrong in that?
Jenson: Yes, of course that was wrong.
Damon: Oh good, at least you're not totally mad.
Jenson: Michael was really hard done by.
Villeneuve was lucky to get away with such a risky move. It was Michael's corner and Jacques just barges into him. I cried for days. I had to hang the German flag in my room at half mast.
Damon: So what about this season when he barged his own brother out of a corner?
Jenson: Yeah, cool. Top stuff.
Damon: Nothing wrong in that then?
Jenson: No 'course not, if he'd taken Ralf out that would have been a better result for me.
Damon: So what if you found out Michael fancied your girlfriend?
Jenson: I'd give him her phone number.
Damon: Or if he wanted to take her off for the weekend somewhere?
Jenson: Yeah, cool.
Damon: You wouldn't mind?
Jenson: I suppose I'd be a bit upset but hey, if it's Michael then I couldn't say no. I'd ask if I could come and hold the video.
Damon: What about his starts last season, when he swerved across the line and tried to push Hakkinen into the wall. Were they okay?
Jenson: Yes, fine.
Damon: Would you mind if he did it to you?
Jenon: It'd be a dream come true.
Damon: Is there anything you wouldn't do for Michael?
Jenson (thinking hard): ...I wouldn't clean his car with my tongue
Damon: Why not?
Jenson: That's Jean Todt's job.

nicholaswhite...that is devastating.

*My* problem is, if Jenson goes to Ferrari, what do I do? I flat out refuse to buy Ferrari gear -- not because I dislike Ferrari as such, but because every new F1 hanger-on defaults to Ferrari and buys the flags ashtrays beer-can-hats underwear fright-wigs socks shoes pins garter belts snuff boxes 1/16 scale model michaels watches t-shirts ventilator slacks 'pit-crew' shirts blankets coke spoons dog cosies tea pots litter boxes microfibre socks bumper stickers propeller beanies rubens-beanie-babies cocktail sets etc. etc.

No, I think I'll just keep on wearing my rather faded Jenson/WilliamsF1 hat...

lol

This must have been with his ex girlfriend....lol wonder if he would say the same with his current one....

If it was with his current one, wonder how much time he did not "get any" after those comments....

mmmm maybe that explains his performance at Benetton last year....lol

It was based ( ) on an interview Jenson did after his first year and he said something like, "The only thing that was wrong with TGF's move was that it didn't work." And he was being interviewed by Damon Hill!

I think there is a great deal of credit in this story and there is no doubt Button is the wanted man in F1.
Ferrari are well known for their like of English drivers and I remember in 89 when Mansell won the first race that the Tifosi went into over drive for their passion of the sport which Schumacher hasn't really acheived with them.

I am suprised that Frank Williams is not hedging his bets by still keeping a drive open for Button for 2003 as there is still along way to go in the season.
Button would be best signing a contract sooner rather than later if Ferrari offer him something to safeguard his future.
I hope not to see JV in a Renault,"you've missed the boat my friend".

Regards

Guy
