Who knows. Would have had 20-30 years to evolve it's own flavour. Maybe something like (but not close to the same) what has happened in Japan where open wheel and sportscar evolved due to their own factors. Any specific predictions would be invention.

Now that is interesting... the Great Race book makes mention that Mr McLeod brought 'his' engine to the HDT but the book didnt make mention of the use of it...

Ideally, when the Bowden's do the finite resto on the car, the engine should be Roadways blue.

Time to go back n look at the Great Race book from 1987 methinks!

Is there a plan to restore #10 to its '87 spec? The centre lock wheels thing is the most obvious.. but the car itself isnt exactly immaculate

and thats why they won't restore as it's still in it's last raced condition
