Moto GP, Round 15 - Sepang
A long time ago, in an off season far far away, the teams tested at Sepang...
Well, Rossi was dominant back then and looked more normal last week at Motegi. He looked so normal in fact, that he was beating up on his teammate. Rossi thought he'd be in trouble physically at Motegi and was expecting to do well at Sepang. Now he's not so sure. Lorenzo can wrap it all up, as Pedrosa will not be riding. That means 16 bikes again, which will look very bad indeed on the monster Sepang track. Stoner has found his mojo and will try for three on the bounce. Elias looks unstoppable in Moto 2, but this is one of the few tracks that can accommodate the huge grid. The two stroke series is on life support, but once again is providing a tight championship race. Of course, it's between three Spaniards. |

In the end Rossi only had to beat Davi as Lorenzo knew he was the champion on those last couple of laps as long as he finished.
Well done though as its OK for us watching it on the TV as the top guys are something else. |

Finally caught up with the races. Rossi was quite determined wasn't he? Even though Dovi more or less kept up with him once Rossi passed him, Rossi still came from a long way back after a horrid start. I thought Lorenzo would give it a bit more with Pedrosa absent, but fair play to him. I hope he takes the gloves off for the last two races.
Stoner! Ugh, another silly crash this season. But it seemed like the other Ducati riders weren't having a great time of it. We always new Hayden was going to struggle with race pace. Nothing new there. Gotta love Simoncelli vs. Aoyama. Take 2 from last year and Simoncelli lost again. Speaking of Simoncelli, his form is a total copy of Rossi's. They even stick their leg out at the same time! And I'll take my second Suzuki top 5 for the year. |

The Doctor was in for sure. Bodes well for Ducati next year.

Spies has almost doubled Edwards points tally in his "rookie" year & tech 3 can justify giving edwards another contract - would rather see Elias ride it!

Edwards brings a bit more to a team than Elias could ever manage.

What exactly does Edwards bring to a team apart from promise that diesppears after a few laps when the tyres go off?
Elias has won a GP at least/ I dont really rate him as a GP rider but you simply cannot argue with his results and consistency this year. If he can make that work on a GP bike he would be a decent contender for good points and podiums, my reservation is he has had many chances already, just like Colin, without success. |

I have to say I'd rather see Elias get one more shot, and that's saying something. But Edwards isn't going to do any better than an inconsistent Elias, so why not take a gamble?
