I think that was his point tbh. Remember that Toro Rosso is basically Minardi, its tough to imagine them anywhere other than towards the bottom of the table,

I'm watching Kobayashi-sans development and progress as he seems to have the capability of becoming a top driver if he develops finesse. He definitely lacks fear of overtaking. Hopefully he will master his late-braking technique. Good luck, Kamui-chan.

Ricciardo should end up in F1 sooner or later just hoping he's in a car that shows his talents. |

Williams first year was outstanding with a second place in the 1969 USGP. Subsequent years were a struggle and the team was almost wiped out. It wasn't until 1978 that Frank and Patrick Head forged a single car team with a young Assie tryer named Alan Jones as driver that they started to return to the sort competitiveness that had been present in 1969. McLaren struggled in its first two years to make anything work then turned a corner in 1968. but they gradually slipped to mid field runners in 1970-1971 before becoming a regular place getter in 1972. 1973-1977 were good years with two world championships before a downward cycle and upswing in 1982 that lasted until 1994...... Minardi had good years of promise and top five grid placings and a few podiums..... it doesn't always have to stay where it was in the late 90's or under the Stoddart legacy. if you regard STR as its original conception as Minardi they even managed to win win a GP in the last three years..... |

Yes, I was amazed when Minardi managed to score a win, even if they had a Newey designed chassis, driven by the golden boy himself
