The new Porsche Carrera 6

I was thinking with the 997 GT3 6 cylinder engine now reaching 435 PS (probably 450 PS in the next model), wouldn't that be a great donor engine for a new Porsche 906 / Carrera 6 inspired supercar?

To sum up the car:

Porsche Carrera 6

2 seat, mid engine
Proportions and styling derived from the original 906/ Carrera 6
Porsche 997 GT3 engine (flat-6, 435PS).
dry weight ~ 950 kg
0-100 kmh in 3.4s
topspeed ~ 340 kmh

The car would be fit nicely in the trend of less emissions and fuel use, being the most economical supercar to date.

Just seen a 906 in modern road going trim. Boxster engine box (could fit most watercooled 6s). Chassis uses modern parts and BIG brakes. Unlike the origional it has a heater for these cold crisp days.
