SJ Spode should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Audi's DTM dominance continues

Audi weathered the torrential rain at Zolder for two more One-Two victories. Aiello took both wins with Mattias Ekstrom 2nd in the qualification race and Christian Abt 2nd in the feature race

Have a look at www.DTM.de for some excellent pictures that show the conditions + full results

Selected other results

(Qualif)
6 Bernd Schneider
9 Jean Alesi
16 Peter Dumbreck
17 Alain Menu

(Main)
3 Bernd Schneider
10 Jean Alesi
13 Peter Dumbreck
14 Alain Menu

Should be great at Donington (hopefully much drier)

Looks like audi really have got it right this year. This could go on for sometime at this rate. Odd though how a privateer team is dominating. They're really showing up the works boys at mercedes and opel. I hope the play field levels out soon.

This has been brewing since the DTM returned in 2000. Audi were bad back then and no one gave them much chance. Since then they have moved the goal posts and the field is trying to catch up.

Hey, it turns out the DTM now has an english website as well. It may have less content, but it's better than nothing!!

Looks like Abt Motorsport has done their homework. Opels are up with the Audis, but I am surprised that the Mercedes Works 2002 CLKs are off to a slow start. Bernd Schneider will have his work cut out to reach Aiello this year.
