What the hell is that?
I´ve checked the new ferrari design and I noticed a little line different from the rest of the chassis in the center of the nose cone, and then I also found it in the new Mclaren MP4-17. I think its used to reduce drag by leaving that the air in that particular area, wich its of high pressure, go into a vortex or maybe even into the car.
I may sound unreasonable but I would appreciate if you have any ideas or information about it. |

I think it's used for cooling the driver! I remember McLaren cut one into their car for a particularly hot Malaysian event.
If anything I would imagine that it would increase drag. There is another thred about this somewhere. |
