Bicknell55 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Porsche 907

Hi-
I was wondering if anyone here would have photographs of some 907's. I have an older model of one but I am having a hard time finding photos of the actual cars. Also, what material was the body made out of, I'm trying to determine what color to paint the interior pannels.

Thanks,
Brent

Brent, Hi, welcome to the forum.

There are, of course, many books on Porsches, some of which cover the 907. The 907 actually came after the 910 and was actually a more aerodynamic version of the earlier car. It was also Porsches first use of RHD because most tracks it raced on ran in a clockwise direction and RHD provided better balance and visibility. May I suggest you get hold of a copy of your compatriot, Hal Thomas's book called 'Porsche Racing Milestones' published in 2001 which has a short section devoted to the 907 and includes pictures of the interior as well as engine detail and some liveries.

They don't have a 907 - but it's a great site for very detailed and accurate info on early racing porsches...

Saw this poster with three 907's on it on eBay. These are the three that made a 1-2-3 win in Daytona in 1968. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...STRK:MESELX:IT
