Is there a good racing game on the mac thats likely to work with a mac mini? Im wanting to try sim style racers with open wheelers or tin tops.
Also is there anyway of using an xbox controller with the mac? Thanks |

Not unless you want to recompile the source code.
Luckily Someone has done that for you, click here (it does apparently work with Snow and Leopard, but I haven't used it myself, as I do not own a Mac, but a PC). |

Ford Racing 2 is available for the Mac and there is also a software update for Intel processors.
The game is distributed by Feral Interactive ]http://www.feralinteractive.com/game/fordracing2 and the software update is featured on |

Sorry for necrobumping; just wanted to note, for completeness' sake, that nowadays it's possible to run several PC simulators directly on Mac OS X.
Have been using the CrossOver Games V10 'emulator' for this, works fine with GTR2 and rFactor. Can't run full fields on the Mac mini (2009 version or later), but smaller ones with about 7 AI cars will do ok. USB input is recognised so one can use a gamepad or a wheel. |

How do you get that emulator to work properly so you can run one of those games?
