Hi,
The 20 unsilenced days are self explanatory, but how are the remaining 40 split into two different "noise levels". As far as I'm aware there are only two levels of "noise" at the moment, no limit and 105dB. At Castle Combe they have a lower limit of 103db (I think) due to local restirctions. Steve |

For car race there are effectively three levels and that is what Donington have structured their days around.
1. No restriction (except any applied by the championship etc.) 2. Section "A" - 105 dB(A) Applies to Saloon and sports cars 3. Section "B" - 108 dB(A) Applies to Single seater and sports racing cars For full detail see section J of the Blue book, particularly Appendix 1. Regards Jim |
