I agree, gonna be a battle between Stoner, Danibore and Jorge I think, no one else is going to get anywhere near.
Watching the rider interviews on GP Rossi looked beaten, as did Hayden. I think the only intrest might be Simoncelli, he wont be afraid of throwing it around up there. Seems also that Honda are pushing the limits rules wise with a quick change gearshift or seamless type shift, that is obviously banned but with Honda making the rules as they go we will see of course. WIth the outlay thay have made in riders and upgrades for this bike they are just buying the title to be honest! |

It's like the 500cc days from the late 90s.
Honda, Honda, Honda, Honda, Yamaha, Yamaha, Yamaha... |

Bet they are regretting going shopping with big bucks for Lorenzo a couple of years back and torching Stoner. Seems hes the only guy who can ride that bike quick.
I wonder how long the love affair with Rossi will last. |

for the 2nd year running the MOTOGP round in Japan has been moved. this time to Oct 2 this time due to the earthquake not an ash cloud. that therefore 2 motorsport postponedments this year (F1 Bahrain and now this if MCN is correct)

Max Biaggi and Mika Kallio with Aprilia?
Max Biaggi had been told yet unconfirmed reports that the 2012 season, he will return to the MotoGP category of the Finnish driver's team guy. Biaggi did not mention this in a Finnish name, but in practice it can not be still, at least not at this stage, none other than Mika Kallio, as the 16-year old Niklas Ajo upward trend has just started his first full Cup season. |

Kallio isn't coming anywhere near a GP seat again without a boat load of money. And I can't honestly see Biaggi going back. His ego may want to, but surly he's getting closer to retirement by the race. Especially if he keeps getting beat up in WSBK. As for Aprilia, it's been pretty quiet. I would say watch this space. More will be revealed over the course of the year. Moto GP costs a bundle for a privateer effort. A potential race winning effort even more. I don't see it, but wouldn't mind being wrong. |

Is Jorge Lorenzo definitely not racing at Valencia? If so who is going to be on his bike - Noriyuki Haga? Ant West? Tommy Hill?

They've put Josh Hayes on Colin Edwards bike for the weekend as he was going to test it as a thankyou for winning AMA, dont think they have future plans for him though as he is only a year younger than Colin.

I think it's just a nod for back to back titles in AMA.
Lorenzo will not ride, but no word yet if he is being replaced. |
