Is GT Trophy dead?

I have always wondered how long the series would last with grids almost never exceeding 20 and sometimes struguling to reach 10.

There will be good memories of the series for me after Brands Hatch last summer, with a good fight between a Venturi 400R and a Ferrari F40 LM around the GP Loop.

However there is no more link for GT Trophy on the MSVR home page, does this mean that it is no more?

I assume so given that all references to the series have been removed from MSVR's and Bute Motorsport's website. Personally, I can't say that I am too disappointed to see the series disapeer given the relatively small grids that it attracted.

It's been put on hold and will be reviewed during/end of the season.

For clarification, the GT Trophy is the endurance format? the GT Cup still exists, I assume?

Trophy is the endurance format; as opposed to the GT Cup which continues in 2012, which has more of a sprint format.
