IIRC RSR still has an year left on it's life-support contract with Jaguar, but according to rumours 2013 will be the very last season (thank god).

I think he should just fully concentrate on Trans-Am where Jags are actually competitive... and faster than the GT2 versions
Seriously thou, it is weird having a part-time ALMS support series that has faster Corvettes in it! |

The TA Jag had a 1:20.7 in q'ing. vs the GTE Jag with a 1:20.9 in q'ing. But these aren't really even comparisons given the series rules and chassis construction. Don't know what those TA cars weigh, they have power to weight scales. Last edited by joeb; 7 Oct 2011 at 00:12. |

Forgive my ignorance, but what is this trans am series you speak of? Is this current, or what? Give me the details please.

Jaguar has new management, the RSR program was a product of the old management. The RSR contract will reportedly be run down while a P1 program is being investigated.

in 2014 Jaguar could return to Le Mans with a racing version of the F-Type developed in collaboration with Frank Williams and his team Williams F1. A number of specimens will be available for private teams.

Let's hope so. Still holding out for an LMP1 but would love to see that car in action.

rumours of british sources. Williams has already made simulations on the C-X75, and his desire now is to become partners in the division race, as happened with TWR.
