Clios
I've been to every round of the Clio Cup this season so far and may I be so bold to say that I predict AARON SCOTT (No 66 - Tim Norton Motorsport) will soon be winning races! A fantastically talented racing driver with the best yet to come!

Hello Aaron! Welcome to 10-10ths!
When do you think he will win his first Clio race? |

Erm, last time I looked, I was most certainly female!
I think Aaron will go well at Thruxton next weekend - if other drivers feel it necessary to keep him on the track that is! He was going well at Silverstone until the 'tussle' at Copse - he would have easily retained the place if it wasn't for that incident. |

I won't be going to Thruxton, but I'm sure I'll get to see the Clios later in the year. Seriously, do you know him? (have inside info!) Last edited by Adam43; 6 Jun 2002 at 15:31. |

Apology accepted!
I do know Aaron...but have no inside information! He is finding time every time he goes out on track - so the results will follow in time too I reckon! |

I saw him race a few times and thought he was pretty good. He looks smooth round the corners, does a tidy drive. This guy is one to watch - certainly should have been in the top six at his last race. I'm certainly not a pro but I think he could win.

so long as he knows how to elbow people out the way before he's elbowed out of the way himself he'll do well

Are the trucks not racing anymore then ? They are much more fun than FRenault (snooze) and Clios (sorry folks!) and worth the journey on their own!

I guess it would. We tried cheering for some fella in the Snoremula Renault at Silverstone but I seemed to lose interest after a couple of laps... maybe it'd have been better if we'd have known him ?

Double pole for Rivett but the times are so close at the front.
Buxton's found a rear damper is duff so should be in much stronger shape tomorrow. Kirkaldy is right at the back of the grid for both after going off onto the infield at Noble on his third lap and damaging the subframe. Could have been a broken wheel bearing. Nothing seems to go right for him in qualifying ... Full report is at www.renaultsport.co.uk or http://www.racecarnewmedia.com/renau...?ArticleID=145 |

Just got home from Thruxton, outstanding drive by Kirkaldy, lots of damage in qualifying but what a come back in the race! imagine if he'd started those races from pole!!! Mind you gave the fans something to cheer about.
Glad no one was hurt in the numerous shunts. Roll on Brands! (As usual - no pun intended!) |

carnage!!
Good win by Byford after Huff went straight through the chicane. Buxton's engine blew and the new one didn't last coming out of the pits. Massive accident for Rouse and Jo Kraemer but both ok. Second race saw it red flagged after Huff was hit by brake-less Murray. I believe Huff has hurt his arm but otherwise ok. Won by Rivett with Byford 3rd and with fastest lap.So by my reckoning my boy has grabbed back one point. This championship is looking great. |

that first race was one of the best I have seen for a long time. Robert Huff and Martin Byford were so close every lap at the chicane - just superb.
