e-mail confirmation
Anyone that wishes to edit pages will have to confirm their e-mail address. Basically this is the first step to combat spam.
For new users the confirmation will be mailed automatically, for existing users you will be taken through the steps needed when you try to edit a page. |

Sounds a sensible way of cutting down the amount of banning and deleting you've had to do over the past week or so.

Ive just registered a new account and have received no e-mail confirmation. I used a .live.co.uk email address. Are there any email systems (hotmail, yahoo GMail etc) we aren't allowed to use?

I THINK I've worked out how to manually confirm registrations, if anyone still has a problem then drop me a post in this thread.
