Voted JPM, tho he's probably equal with Rubens.

I love Ferrari's and used to be a TGF fan (yes at the same time as JPM!) but recent events have lessenned my opinion of him, He's still a good driver though.....

yeah Mr V, but before F1 those guys were illustrious nobody (and kids might I add) whereas Pablo before being a "rookie" in F1 competed in CART, not exactly an unknown series...

your right Red, but my point still remains the same, there are proberbly more fans who new about JPM before F1 than other drivers, although Heidfeld, Webber, Button, Villeneuve were quite well known before F1 as well.

I think it's fair to say, hardly anybody had heard of M.Schu before he entered (do you agree?) and he had a fantastic first weekend at Spa, then obviously, went to Benetton and did really well for the remaining 4 or 5 races of the season, this, gained him a lot of fans among the people who'd never heard of him only a couple of months before, because they saw alot of future in him, now, isn't this "jumping on the bandwagon?" (and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but it can't be denied that that is exactly what it is!)

(and before anybody thinks this is another Anti-TGF thread, wrong, as it's not, just using him as an example!)

Well Mr V, I agree with everything you say, actually that's pretty much what I said. They knew about Montoya (even me, and I don't watch CART) because he was 25 when he entered F1, and he raced in a series that gets exposure. Now, how many of us regularily watch Japan F 3000 or DTM's? (Hmmm.... maybe I should visit those forums every once in a while?)

thank heavens for Digital TV is all i can say Red, people who have access to it are spoilt for choice, and that can only be a good thing!
