Kaf1274 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F1 teams and visas

So, it might be stupid, but here's a question I've been wondering about for some years...how are visas sorted out in F1? Is each team able to apply collectively, or are all drivers, mechanics, press teams, caterers etc responsible for getting their own, or are there exemptions? I seem to recall one team having a problem with delayed visa a couple of years ago, think it was Honda but don't quote me on that, but I don't recall the details.

Anybody know?

There is a travel department within F1 and individual teams I'm sure.

There was also a related post in the Sports Car Forum how Japanese drivers/teams were denied visa's for the 12 hours of Shanghai last month... China's retaliation.

The FIA is usually viscious in this situation.
Did they not pull the events status?
