The only CART race I have on tape is CBC"s coverage of the 1999 Fontana race where Greg Moore raced his last race.I tape over all CART races with F1 as soon as I view them.

Wow, the '99 Fontana race,

That was my first race to watch live, and my girlfriend's first race ever. It started out to be one of the best days ever. Unfortunately, it would become one of my most memorible days as well. What a sad day that was. I was at the exit of turn four, right in front of the medivac launch pad and seeing the chopper lift off. I also remember noticing the Stars and Strips at half mast about 15 minutes before they announced Mr. Moore passing.

I don't think I will ever forget that race, for many reasons.

I would love to see the Michigan race, with Montoya and Andretti almost touching on their run to the finish

I'm sure I've got some old ones on tapes lying around here. I've found Nazareth and Laguna Seca 1989, as well as the Marlboro Challenge, also held at Laguna that year. There's also some F1 footage on the tape from the same year, but sadly, it's only the first half of Portugal and the second half of Spain. :/

I just watch the race and then tape over it, although i had 1997 Toronto race for about a year (the one that Franchitti got turned around at the first corner by Rahal, and there was a huge traffic jam) and i think Mark Blundell won it (the PacWest Glory days) from Alex Zanardi (or was that the other way around??) and ndre Ribero was 3rd in the Tasman Lola

I would not be surprised if I have the 1999 Fontana race on one of my tapes.

I can't seem to find all of my tapes right now. So far...

1996 Nurburgring (JV's first F1 victory)
1996 Michigan 500
1997 Jerez (JV's championship)
1998 Long Beach
1998 Michigan 500
2001 Indianapolis
2002 Indianapolis

I know I've got more around here somewhere... Most notably some great runs at MIS from 99-01.

Anybody got the 95 Indy? Or 93 Cleveland?
