woodyracing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
weld in roll cage - 6 point or multipoint ?

comparing a 6 point cage to a 8 (multi) point cage which welds to the front and rear strut towers, would there be much chassis/handling difference ? would it be noticable ? assuming they weighed the same.

Obviously the eight point weld in would give more strength BUT, ideally the shell would be bolted to a flat bed to make sure it stays as square as possible.
Just as long as the cage isn't destined for an FIA car,the suspension pick-ups need to be as the regs state.

I think it depends on the car, as well as what else is tagged. I have had cars with the struts close to the bulkhead without tower extensions and I do not think they were adversely effected, however, it did have the A pillar tagged and a few extra bars.
My current car has them and the struts are further way and I think it helps but I haven't tried the same car without to verify.

I would do it if I had the choice, would most likely be safer as well, keeping it stiffer, less things crumpling into you
