Open Wheel (Kickstarter)
Let me first say that I have no association with this project. With that out of the way, Open Wheel looks like an interesting take on the 'Racer' genre - not only are you the driver, but you get a chance to be the designer too. Hopefully it gets sufficient support to come to market.

Funding something on Kickstarter is massively risky. Essentially an investor with no control, no protection, no rights, etc.
£198k does not seem anywhere near the amount of money that would be required to make what is being offered. Be very wary. The road to hell is paved with good intentions |

£198k also seems like far too much to expect to raise from what is a relatively small potential audience, especially with the limited publicity they have had. Anyway, as of now they have 45 minutes to just scrape together the final £190,000 or so. It's a shame in a way, but also not even slightly surprising. |
