Classic Rallycross Video

Hi all

I have saved some classic footage and put it up on Youtube.
Classic stuff of the Xtrac Escort with Norwegian Martin Schanche and Murray Walker doing the commentry. Also a lot of well know drivers in the event.

GRAND!!! Never seen before. Wakes up nice memories. It was the first ever event of the Xtrac XR3 of Martin. Erich Zakowski (Mister Zakspeed), Mike Endean (Mister Xtrac) and Peter Ashcroft (Ford) were all with us that weekend.

Excellent stuff, great days with the four wheel drivers having to force them themselves to the front to overcome their penalties.

Fantastic. I think I went to that meeting. Can't remember if I went Saturday or Sunday though !! I know I've still got the programme. I've got all the GP's on DVD somewhere, better watch them again.

I've been racing in the Revivals class for the last two years and absolutely loved it. I'm taking a year off to concentrate on the old story (work !!) but I will still be involved as one of the Revivals co-ordinators. We will be racing alongside the MDA and the Open series. Croft Rallycross

Here are two short clips I took in the late 60s or early 70s at Croft. The quality is not good and the sound track (film is Super8 silent) should really be erased!
