Er..... Because Snetterton and Silverstone are the only circuits where 24 hour racing can be held in the UK...... And Silverstone is too expensive and far too dull...

The race moved from Mondello in 2003 because that circuit did not have the necessary permissions in place to run a 24 hour race, and a local bigwig attepted to get the 2002 race stopped during the night because of noise / disturbance.

Just to say thanks to all marshals and helpers who took part. I was one of the drivers in the Green #60 Iceni Racing team car, we had our worst year ever finishing 2nd to last with 5 engine changes and numerous other related engine/fuel issues. But we had a blast all the same, great event.

Going to posting numerous onboard videos over the coming days but thought you might like to see what it looks like from in-car, driving at night, in full HD quality. This is our team boss Greg Page at the wheels.

Yet another excellent 2CV 24hrs and the dryest/clearest one I can remember.
Well done to Team Stinky, for finally getting their well deserved victory,
Many thanks to the Belgians for adding some nice variety, loved car 70.
A big thanks you to ALL who made it possible, especially the teams.
Thanks to my "responsible adult" Mark, who did a grand job, especially at Coram, and thanks to little Al for giving us something to do, trying to translate his radio messages!

If you were on post or pitlane for the first 1h50m you will probably have seen a green car (#60) virtually attached to a red car (#55) for much of that session. Well, I reckon from about 30m to almost an hour and 1h25m to about 1h50m.

This video is from the 2nd of those draft sessions, by this time I had complete confidence in the driver of the #55 car, if he'd made a mistake I would likely have met one of two of you trackside.
