Bathurst 1000
Cab any of our Australian friends comment on marshals camping arrangements at Bathurst this year? I remember reading about long walks into the circuit. When we were there in 08, we camped just by turn 1.
Want to do the race again, but not if there's issues. |

There were a lot of pre race gripes this year about the camp grounds for volunteers. I don't know whether they got sorted or not, but it read as though the organiser had given the old site over to commercial camping.
I'll ping my chums from SAMROA and see what they say - I think 15 of them went. |

I too remember reading on the Aussie boards about the poor location this year.
But as things quieted I figured they had it all sorted. |
