I do think that JB's drive in Canada was exceptional, but like BiaRB, I am a bit of a fan but a perhaps a bit more measured, but he is a balancing antidote to Razzzor who clearly isn't (observation, not a criticism)! EDIT apologies for below got carried away, NOT recent but left them in anyway! Maybe Rubens counts! Another that comes to mind is Rubens at Silverstone 2003, and although I was never a fan, Schuey at Spain in 1996 (another wet one, IIRC). There are loads really but they will be before most on here were born - Stewart at the Ring (68 ish), Graham Hill also at the Ring in 62 when a certain Jim Clark also starred, Moss almost everywhere, but Argentina 58 and Monaco and Germany in 61 particularly come to mind. Fangio, again at the Ring in 57. The original Nurburgring is a standout track for great drives, inevitable given its length, technicality and inherent dangers! |
