I hope everyone's ok, there were several rather brutal hits during the last couple of wrecks - the final one in particular which saw Miguel Paludo flip and slide along the entire tri-oval on his roof. Kyle Busch took a couple of hard hits and slumped down against the wall after crawling from the wreckage of his truck.
Johnny Sauter picked up the win. Edit - Ok, ouch. They just showed an alternate replay angle which showed Kyle Busch hitting the inside wall, which has no SAFER wall, very hard. Apparently he might actually have broken(!) the wall as he hit, according to one of the commentators (assuming he was serious, that is). Other than getting the wind knocked out of him he thankfully escaped uninjured. Last edited by rustyfan; 19 Oct 2013 at 22:37. |

I think we just saw Kevin Harvick nuke the RCR bridge today at the Martinsville truck race.

Well done to that Wallace lad. Star in the making.
There'll be awkward moments between Childress and Harvick. Childress feels very protective of his little pups. |

You may want to see if its on youtube. It will go down as one
for the record books. In a nutshell: He and Ty Dillon got in a scrum. They start beating and banging under the caution. Harvick goes to the pits and stops in Dillons pit to keep him from being able to stop. Dillons pit crew tries to land a few punches to Harvick through the window, as someone tossed a sledge hammer at the truck. When Harvick parked his truck , here comes the microphones. And I paraphrase: "Thats why I am leaving RCR, because of those non respecting rich kids who have been spoon fed their entire lives." Next day - Harvick apologizes. |
