Hi Guys,

We are a small but select band on Tuesday so anyone else is more than welcome.

When you get to the circuit park up near the Goodwood Bar for sign-on. I will let you know where to park or get a lift to post when i allocate you. In short Posts 6 to 12 will get a lift to post and everyone else will be able to park within walking distance of their post.

I will be holding a briefing for all at 8.25ish in the Goodwood Bar at the end of sign-on. I would like everyone to attend as we will be using the new flag rules even though it is not an MSA sanctioned day.

I would STRONLY encourage everyone to bring wellies no matter what post I put you on.

Thanks to everyone for today.

The weather could have been worse but we got through the day. The new flagging seemed to go OK considering our small numbers.

P.S. Sorry about the early season wake-up call!!

An enjoyable day - good to be back on the bank.

I saw the car inbound and hit ... I just waited for the usual "words and phrases" to come over the airwaves

As for the new flag regs - first use in a "live" situation .... I'm not as confident as you that it necessarily went well but passable for a first outing and we will see how things go on as the season progresses.

See folks around

Apart from whoever was waving a red and green flag at the same time.

Was good to have a go at flagging for the first time. Blue flagging took a little getting used too. Moffat accident has been confirmed as being caused by a rabbit! So says twitter

Enjoyed the day at post 2 just could have done with some nice grass to stand on instead of mud caused by moving armco back. managed to find some blocks to stand on after extracting our boots from the mud!! Sorry for the state of the flags- very muddy but guess the coming season with all the rain will soon clean them up. Still it was great day and glad I made the effort to go.

Can't blame that on the new flag regs!

And saw me exiting rapidly

Note I said 'OK' and not 'well'. But i think 'passable' is a good way of describing it!

Not sure I can remember seeing any rabbit before the accident though!

I used that excuse more than forty years ago when explaining to my Mum how I had rearranged the front-end of my first car.

Don't believe "reported" explanations till you speak to someone who was present and then be prepared for a bit of enthusiastic "embellishment".

Sorry for the late post but thanks to everyone that endured the rain (and the mud along start straight to Post 2). I thought it was a really good day and I'm glad to say that slicks were used!
Thanks again, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for those that give up their valuable time for a sport they love. See you all for the TOCA test on 9th April or failing that the Easter Revival (F2, F5000, Martini Trophy - unsilenced), also round 1 of Super Touring 😄

Good to see the start of the day wasn't delayed due to a lack of marshals like the F1 testing

I was at Thruxton, little gallery here. A few of you make a brief appearance

cheers
