"The Mitty" April 25th - 27th
"The Mitty" at Road Atlanta April 25th - 27th. One of the best vintage events on the east coast. Pretty good deal on advance tickets from HSR. Who's going from 10/Tenths?
http://www.roadatlanta.com/the-mitty http://www.hsrtickets.com/5-tickets Indycar's are at Barber that weekend, but I'm staying close to home. I would still like to see a PWC race somewhere this year. |

I will be there in the same spot, as usual.
I nixed the Indycar as I hate Barber, but Mid-Ohio is in my sights right now. |

I detest Barber as well. It's a beautiful Park, however and I need to get to the museum one day.
Gates opened today at the southeast's best road course. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get over there until Saturday morning or Friday night at the earliest. Decent entry: http://www.hsrrace.com/2014_Events/M...ch_13-POST.pdf |

What part of the track do you guys hang out at?
During the day I usually go from 3 , to 6 , then the bridge on the way out. I am getting there after the lunch break on Sat. |

We'll be camping in T4 but generally like to work our way all the track because it is very easy to do on Mitty weekend and there's so many cool cars all over.

In for Saturday only. Should arrive pretty early. F.O.D. if your number hasn't changed, I still have it. Sunshine, cool cars (and maybe a few adult beverages) a great weekend.

so I moved on. I tried. Good crowd for a Mitty. Seeing those big vintage classes really warms the heart. Fun seeing Sean Rayhall in the 914. |

Sean was the driver of the weekend but think the McLaren M8F in the factory orange was the highlight for me. |

Had a great time on Saturday with FOD, JHamilton & Broadrun and their crew. Sorry we missed you Canamman.
So great pics here: http://www.sportscardigest.com/hsr-c...rt-and-photos/ It was Gunnar Jennette driving that crashed the RS Spyder (page 5 photo) on Friday. And here.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/jdeckg...7644425731941/ Last edited by HJJ; 30 Apr 2014 at 15:35. |

I will catch up with ya'll sooner or later.
I was looking at the Roland Ratzenberger thread and on that tragic weekend I remembered being at Road Atlanta for an event , just could not remember what it was. Looked at my ticket stub that I saved, it was the Mitty. April 30th 1994. |
