Skaife - What's happening?

Hi guys,

Does anybody know what the situation is with Mark Skaife? I wasn't totally surprised that he didn't take/get a drive in the enduros this season, but I was curious as to if anybody had heard anything about 2015?

I don't think he's had enough recent driving time to warrant a seat. He'd need to be doing something like the Porsche's to keep up his racing experience and level. If he really wanted to come back I would probably suggest that doing the Bathurst 12 hour next year and start racing the Porsches would be a step in the right direction, although I don't think his TV commitments would allow for that.

I'd say he's pretty much hung the helmet up.

Plenty of other stuff going on in his life to not require stepping behind the wheel.

I think he wants to be with his family. Only doing the odd thing with Ch 7.

And hopefully not with Fox or Ch10 next yr.
