Easily. That Jordan isn't worthy of sixth place.

Honda has made a step up with their motor and GF made the best of it. The guy is a champ. OP is sending a very loud message so far too. He might be old but not dead yet. Fisi also had the best top speed too so he was really on the edge. Maybe he can get what he really deserves and end up on the podium.

A great performance by Fisicella. Looks like the break did him good..I also enjoyed Sato's first run, it wasnt too quick, but it was fun to watch!
Stars of qualifying - Ralf and Giancarlo. |

Go Giancarlo!!!
2002 Grosser Mobil 1 Preis von Deutschland: - Rubens retires on the grid. - TGF will be involved in a 1st lap accident at the Nordkurve (Taking out Ralf). - Giancarlo gets the better of Kimi at the start. (so Fisico is 2nd after Nordkurve ) - Dives down the inside of Montoya to take the lead at the Ayrton Senna Kurve! |

Not too suprised really. The Jordan has been quick lately, and the new Honda motor surely helps. But Fisichella is a fantastically fast driver. Great job Giancarlo!!

Anyway, any doubt over Fisichella's abilities? No! How that man is not in a top team is a mystery to me - and a big shame. Hopefully his time will come - we can but hope. Meanwhile, let's hope he has a great race tomorrow. PODIUM PODIUM PODIUM!!! |

The Ayrton Senna Kurve is the hairpin - its in about the same point as where the Senna Chicane was on the old track. |

OK, thanks. I had just read somewhere that the Senna curve was gone completely from the new track.
Now isn't that nice... the fastest driver gets his name attached to the slowest possible type of curve... Last edited by R; 28 Jul 2002 at 18:52. |
