Race position /lap timing on the pitwall

Merry Xmas everyone I am returning to circuit racing after a few years away karting, what do you use for race position / lap timing I Think most circuits have a plug in on the pitwall that you can connect to to see the times ,any ideas what to use to view this ie monitors etc that are not too big and easy to set up.We will be racing in 40 minute races with a driver change so it will be much easier to view tsl timing rather than try and work out positions etc thanks in advance Jules

Any video monitor will do to plug into the pit-wall feed as long as it takes an analogue feed. The pit-wall feed is normally just an analogue not digital - just think of it as plugging in an 'old' TV into an aerial socket (i.e. the aerial type of connector) and you'll be fine. TSL, MST etc etc all tend to feed into the same circuit system.

Just bear in mind that they some circuits analogue feed can be a bit low powered, the further away that you get from the source,

A small LCD tellybox with an co-axial aerial input. Out kit bag has a selection of aerial adaptors to make things work with different circuits.
