There was an article before saying they chose the AER over the Audi, but that was before Spa. So its like a run around of excuses. I dont know how you struck a nerve, I just hope they can race!

Remember the Swiss Spirit Lola project with the Audi V8? Audi decided mid season not to supply the engine so that project pretty much died after that.
Maybe Audi had cold feet after not being paid on time??? Tsk tsk Colin |

The engine from DTM is not directly supplied to customers, but it was first re-developed/badged by NBE. So technically Audi has no interest invested in this I guess. Or maybe there's problem with Neil Brown?

Hmm, hard to believe, NBE have quite a good reputation as far as I am aware, though their focus seems to be on BTCC 2-liter-engines for Honda and BMW these days.

I thought NBE also does the Audi DTM engine in the first place.

Lotus Evora 400
I didn't want to start a new thread for this.
Lotus have revealed a revised Evora. And apparently they have been selling more cars. http://www.racer.com/more/road-cars/...a-400-supercar |

Hah, good timing for the thread revival:
The Ex-AJR Lotus will be back in competition this year in the UK GT-Cup series: http://www.gtcup.co.uk/news/534-8909/product.php |

This is probably an over-step, but do you think Motor racing could convince the new Lotus bosses to spend half of their market budget on competition again?

I'm confused as to why someone hasn't built a Evora GT3 yet
