ModelT should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lotus LMP2

I was just curious as to what ever happened to the Kolles Lotus LMP2 cars?

At the time I thought they were far more advanced than the open top LMP2 cars racing, but wondered why they never achieved success. It would be interesting to see today, how they would compare up against the new Oak/Ligier and Oreca cars?

Did Kolles cannibalize them to build the LMP1 car maybe?

Mmm, what a shame they weren't as competitive at the time as other LMP2s. In my personal opinion the T128 was one of the most beautiful LMP2 cars out there in recent years.

I think I had read Kolles is using the same chassis from Lotus P2, because most of the chassises in P2 are P1 capable by the regulations (as the new Oreca).

Here, some information.

It's not a bad thing if the cockpit or core of the chassis is good. Audi is using the same core of the car since 2013.

Greetings

I think that the CLM is not using the tubs from the T128, but the tub design is heavily based on the T128.

One of the T128 was bought by Praga, who were planning to enter it in ELMS this year, which for unknown reasons hasn't happened yet.

Perhaps they do not have the funding to go racing?

Buying the car is probably the cheapest part of it
