OK Penalties
Verstappen carries a 5 place for avoidable accident forward from Monaco Button due to Engine Problems failed to Qualify but was allowed to Race, the usual penalty of the number of official entries plus 2 points, therefore a total of -22 points. Vettel received a 5 place Grid drop for overtaking under Red Flag conditions during FP3. Vettel can't take the full Drop, but is penalised the full 5 points. Verstappen is further penalised 10 grid places for taking a 5th PU component - an Engine. However as he qualified 12, the first penalty drop him to 17th and then due to Button will actually start 19th, The Engine penalties operate differently from normal grid drops and only 2 of the Engine penalties total of 7 penalty points will apply. Button then required a 5th PU component, a Turbo charger this is a place penalty he also required a 5th MGU-H for a further 5 place penalty. However as he started last none of these places were taken resulting in no grid Drop Penalties in the Fantasy competition for the Driver or team, but there was in race penalties applied instead. However Honda receive the full 15 point penalty. The results The top 3 all each have Hamilton and Sainz as their drivers, but the Constructor and Engine combos really created some gaps. Wolf GP wins the round again with 95 points. Team Star Trek was second on 90 points with 1.000 BHP Racing in third with 83 points In the overall Wolf GP on 695pts now has a 66 point led over Razzzors Edge on 629, but it's really close for that second step of the podium as in Third Racing For Sealand is on 628pts and fourth Team Star Trek on 623 pts The Drivers table is shown below again and a reminder that Austria is next and is back on conventional European timings for the substitution cut off of at the start of FP1. |

Thank you for the update SBF.
These engine & engine ancillary penalties are going to be messy to follow the rest of the year. The 4x Renault unpowered cars are going to suck from now on |

Your right about the penalties, but as long as I can get the stewards decision PDFs from the FIA website, it shouldn't be too bad.
You just need to follow the order that they are done, to understand the outcome of them. The easy part is the PU provider get hit with everything |
