I preferred the previous front end. But it surely seems a great car to drive.

Looks interesting, perhaps the headlights could be raised a bit, being below the top of the tyre throws the proportion off in photos at least. I'll wait until I see one in the metal to decide if I like it.
They haven't revealed the engines yet have they? The 3-cyl could be an interesting option, likewise the 2.5L from the 3, but chances are it will have neither. |

I've always wanted an MX-5. Until now. I saw it at the Toronto Auto Show last month and was really turned off by the nose. The rest of the car is great but... that nose...

Well there is the Fiat.
Although it doesn't bother me. The MX5 has never been the best looking car. It is about what it is not what it looks like. |

Stunning condition BTW, well done Paula! |

Thank you ....
She is one of the last MX-6's made. I bought her 10 years ago with 92K on the clock (2005) almost to the day. I am the second owner. The mileage is now almost 118K and the wonderfully smooth and torquey 2.5 litre V6 is just about run in .... Last edited by Paulaweybridge; 29 Mar 2015 at 16:03. |

The new one looks to be technically good but with slightly poorer styling. Overall the reduced weight and increased power is a nice "plus and I'd still like to have one if my old one was written off.
I bought my Miata MX5 new in 2000. It's been a truly outstanding car requiring very little care. I have 110,00 miles on it with plenty of track time included (my GPS recorded over 125 mph at a track day at nearby Pocono Raceway a few years ago). |
