Flash Bulletin: Jason Priestly Severely Injured In Irl Development Race
No other news available right now - -just came across the wires on CNN. They really didn't even know what the series was or what he was doing, but said they will update the news as they can. "Severely injured" is all they know.
Although it was an emergency announcement, the guy giving the bulletin did manage to mention every single one of Priestly's sponsors. |

Jason Priestley Medical Update As Of 12:30 P.M. (EDT) Aug. 11
Jason Priestley is in serious condition at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky., after an accident Aug. 11 in an Indy Racing Infiniti Pro Series practice session at Kentucky Speedway, said Dr. Henry Bock, medical services director of the Indy Racing League. Priestley has fractures to both feet, a closed head injury and a fracture of the thoracic spine. He is stable and is responding. He was transported by U.K. Air Medical Service to the University of Kentucky Hospital. Priestley’s No. 7 HomeMed Pharmacy Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone hit the retaining wall in Turn 2 at approximately 8:42 a.m. (EDT) during a practice session for the Kentucky 100 Indy Racing Infiniti Pro Series race. Updates will be released by the Indy Racing League when available. |
