I know I'm being picky but the winner of the final IS the winner of the GP. They just might not have the most championship points. It's still illogical though which I guess was your point.

I still prefer the old 24 rider double-elimination format, but that's just me being an old git!

Spent a couple hours last weekend catching up
with Speedway. Watched Poland 2015. Saw Gollab's
farewell and the crazy malfunction of the tape which
they then switched to start lights.

How long after the race is completed is the race available
on youtube?

Pedersen takes Finland. Heading to Prague this weekend.
Tai finished a semi while getting his shoulder yanked out.
Its everything you can do to hang on to those bikes
especially through the ruts of the later rounds.

Is it customary to take the whole month of June off
in this sport? If so, what for?

They have a break in GPs at least for the Speedway World Cup. League should be carrying on though. I think there's a live event on Sky next week.

Just WOW. Hancock vs. Pedersen

My opinion is Pedersen squeezed Hancock in the wall.

Pederson has ALWAYS been one of the dirtiest riders on the scene and Greg perhaps one of the cleanest.

All of them are strugglign to beat Tai at the moment, which is nice!

The youtube comments were similar towards Pederson.
This is my first year keeping up with Speedway on a weekly basis.
I am still getting to know these riders. Took me a while to
figure out that that was not a beard on Tai.

I hate that the semi's were cancelled
due to rain. They were going to be good ones.

2 flats for Hancock on the nite. Bet they wont use that
tire strategy again.
