Juntos is a back marker

Seems "El Loco" Canamasas signed for Team Lazarus till the season's end.

He is an excellent showman! We need him in the game!

Looks like the safety car for De Jong's crash hindered Rossi's strategy. Vandoorne wins again.

Speaking of De Jong, he's reportedly suffered a concussion: https://twitter.com/LindaF1nl/status/635111866033942529

Doesn't surprise me! That is one of the worst accidents I've seen in GP2. Truly horrendous hit into the tyres. I'd be amazed if he's out tomorrow.

An interesting top lot for the reverse grid, but give Vandoorne a Formula 1 drive already!!!

Just read that De Jong has had back surgery, hopefully nothing really bad, and i agree with Biscuits regarding the crash, that really was horrendous, i think Gasly could have given him a bit of room myself.

Fractured vertebra for De Jong. Meanwhile, Rossi takes the sprint race win and is 2nd in the standings. Sirotkin ties for 3rd place with Haryanto.

There is some quite scary stuff happening in GP2. Some of it is great to watch, side by side through Eau Rouge etc, but it makes me worried, especially when you see a crash like De Jongs.

Then we go and see Verstappen try the same thing on the next day, just lucky that Nasr was more generous than Gasly. I'm not putting blame on Gasly, I haven't seen in car and I think he might not have known De Jong was still there.

Gasly was a bit naughty yesterday as well, can't recall exactly what happened but I think he basically ran Rowland off the road.

Oli himself didn't do himself any favours with that shut down on Matsushita on Saturday but he raced very well from the back on Sunday until he conked.

If we didn't already know if from WSB Gibson, there is clearly huge huge talent and speed there to put that equipment second on the grid.

He will be a title contender next year assuming he can raise the funds, without doubt.

Some great racing all through the field in both races, but some of those drivers are dreadful and some are clearly struggling with set ups or tyre management, which is the name of the game in this series.

Canamasas impressed me, not necessarily because he did anything outstanding but because he didn't try to kill anyone and kept his nose clean. If he could keep his composure regularly he could yet make a decent driver as he has ability.

Vandoorne overall though is different class isn't he?
