September Clubnight 2

The first of 2 clubnights in September will be on 8th September at the White Horse pub in Silverstone village. As normal the evening will start at 8pm, all marshals are welcome. Our guest for the evening will be Carolynn Hoy.

Carolynn Hoy started out racing in Karts, she was 2nd in the British Kart Championship in 1982 and 6th in the World Championship in 1984. She spent some of her karting career as teammate to Martin Hines in the Hermatite Zip Kart Team

She moved from karts to racing saloon cars and was a factory driver for the sportscar marque Panther. Carolynn raced in FIA European truck racing, injury stopped her racing career. Carolynn is now Chairman of Formula Kart Stars and has been involved with this since 2000.

Carolynn was awarded the Lord Wakefield Trophy for services to motorsport in 2012.

The second clubnight in September will be on 24th with Duncan Ricketts as our guest (See other thread).
