The BMWs are not running at the Glen for the week prior (GARRA) either. Dyson has both R&S there, and The Racers Group is running one car at the Glen. Other than that, there's no overlap.
I'm a bit surprised at that. GARRA has a total entry of 23, including 6 AGT. For a Friday night race that will be well-attended by, erm, "race fans," (being the weekend of the NASCAR Glen race), that's a really low turnout. |

Well said Pink 69, it is a little too early as more cars should register.
"Preliminary noatble absences" are the two Panoz-Mugen and the Rafanelli Ferrari 550. |

Muzza, I think you've missed Gabe's 550. It's there - at the top of the GTS list (#0).
Not that I'm getting excited about it or anything. I hope that MBD gets their woes straightened out for Mosport, as it would be a home race of sorts (although MBD=/=Multimatic, Multimatic is in the area). Hey Muzza, are you coming, or are you going to watch the CART boys? Last edited by paul-collins; 31 Jul 2002 at 02:22. |

Well I hope a few more cars sign up, but I think it will be a good race regardless. I would go just to hear the ear spliting sound of the Panoz. Watch for the red pickup with cap on the inside of turn three, That'll be me. Hope to see you there.

Hello, Paul (Collins),
How are you? I still owe you those beers for the Le Mans contest! Ops, shame on me - yes, the Rafanelli Ferrari 550 is there in the entry list for the Mospor race. I did not pay the needed attention. Unfortunately I am not going to Mosport as I will be in Elkhart Lake for the CART race... I even had an additional motivation to go to Mosport this year as my girlfriend is on a business mission close to Toronto, but I got a photo pass for the CART race in Elkhart Lake and I cannot let this opportunity go. Please keep in touch, and I hope to meet you soon. If you want, we can coordinate our racing calendars via private message. Cheers, |

I'll be there, working with the Speed Touring Cars mostly, but also getting some time for my Alex Job boys whom I didn't get to talk to in Trois-Rivieres (too busy with the Trans Am and Speed GT). I want to hear about that swimming pool bet!
It's not a bad field and nice to know Panoz always does well at that track. |

Why is Butch Leitzinger listed as third driver? Shouldn't he be in Road America, or is the opportunity to race the MG (or at Mosport - or both) too much to pass up?

As an update:
One of the Porschehaus GT Porsches has withdrawn. All seats but one (Archangel) have been filled. The Intersport cars have one Field each. Knighthawk have both Knight and Hawkins. (No Claudia Hurtgen as rumoured). So 27 total. According to motorsport.com, there were 26 last year, same LMP900 totals, only 3 675, 5 GTS, but 10 Porsche+BMW GTs. Apparently Cadillac has been at Mosport since last week Tuesday, and Dyson has also been testing this week (Chris says the footbox is more roomy than the R&S). I wonder who else is there? I believe Champion has been there too but I'm not sure. I'll be leaving early Friday morning, probably won't arrive at the track until mid-afternoon.
