Race 2 at Misano resulted in yet another win for Rea, followed by Sykes.
Rea has now a quite comfortable 66 point lead in the championship. 5 rounds and 10 races to go... |

I just hope that this is a big improvement for Bradl, the first couple of years of MotoGP the results were there for him, but he has been a long way from the top spots since

The championship just got a little bit more exciting with Davies winning race 1 at Magny Cours, Sykes 3rd, and Rea only managing a 4th. A great race by Davis, who made the right tyre decisions on a drying race circuit.
Sykes now has 44 points to catch on Rea, with 125 points still up for grabs. Davis has a 86 point deficit on Rea, so he would need a miracle (i.e. Rea being hit by very serious bad luck) to catch up... |

I love the fact that the title is a great more open after the race and the other riders are in with a better chance of winning the title next season than they were

Davis was very impressive last weekend as was Camier. How come with all the rider signings going on, Leon wasn't snapped up to ride something more competitive?
Anyway, wudda been interesting to see what Nicky could have done in race one. And what about that kid Tuuli in supersport? Sideways or what? |

Did I hear correctly that Supersport is going to be overhauled in the near future? 300cc engines or something like that on account of manufacturers no longer producing new 600cc bike models with the exception of one or two? Sustainability and all that.

I think they messed up.
the 300 class is a new class, SUpersport is not going to be replaced. if it is, thats a huge mistake from CDorna |

Chaz Davies winning streak continues in Jerez!
Since Sykes came on 2nd and Rea on 3rd, the point difference between them is now 44 with 75 points left. Chaz is 72 points behind Rea, so his title hopes are purely mathematical now. Leon Camier rode another fine race on his MV Agusta to finish 7th. |

Great double for Davies, he really does look at one with the Ducati. Personally I would have loved to see Sykes regain a challenging position to Rea but the title's now gone. Thank goodness Alex Lowes stayed on board in the second race. He's had to many DNF's this year and when we remember the titanic battles he had with Shaky Byrne in BSB it would be great to see him repeat some of those battles in the world series.

Seems the second half of the year has at least kept it interesting after it looked like another year of Rea dominance
