MSA Regulation Changes for 2017

Has anyone noticed this change:

5.20.11. No part of the bodywork, or of the suspended part of the car, can be below a horizontal plane passing 4cm above the ground (Unless stated otherwise in SRs), and no part of the vehicle must touch the ground when all the tyres on one side are deflated, the car being in normal racing trim with the occupants aboard.

This will cause an issue for anyone runnig 13" wheels and low ride heights I would think. So Clubmans, 750F, Bikesports, some Radicals, RGBs, S2000, OSS, etc.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem apart from jacking the cars up to a stupid ride height?

Is that a change to the rules? I've always been aware of a minimum ride height, I thought 2" which is more like 5cm but could stand corrected. I remember a scrutineer placing a block on a stick under my car 30 odd years ago.

The minimum ride height reg still applies (40mm) and this is in addition - although I've been led to believe (just this mornng) that the MSA is going to pull this from 2017 pending more analysis.
