Riley Motorsports Brings Merc AMGs to IMSA GTD
According to IMSA, Riley Motorsports will be racing a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3s in IMSA's WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.

A new team, SunEnergy1 Racing, is supposed to bring a third AMG for the whole season, plus a couple cars for Daytona.

I don't know why Mercedes decided to pay the fee, but I am glad.

Excellent news all around. We get an additional manufacturer in GTD, two full season entries with Riley at the helm, and Weathertech is back in the series.

2017 is looking very strong where it counts.
