Makowiecki topped qualifying, followed by Parente and Bamber.

Pretty close margins there. Hope the race is as close.

Looks like an interesting race. 2 Porsches, 2 Audis, a Ferrari and a Lambo fighting it out. The McLaren is out of it. It started to rain and tyre strategy is getting interesting. Wets aren't really faster than slicks.

Some wet weather racing!
Something that is quite rare in the WEC |

So Watson is still trolling with that van Ginnnsbergen thing.
After almost 9 hours there are still the same 6 cars withing 2 laps. The Audis took the lead once it started raining and doesn't look like someone is challenging them. The Porsches had brake trouble. |

The Ferrari is held back by Lathouras being a Silver, while the JLOC Lambo is slow in the pits.

night racing video broadcasts are harsh enough on the eyes already, a wet tarmac doesn't help one bit, sadly. I wish some bright guy finally developed some (electronic / software) solution for this...

And there goes the #15 Phoenix Audi to win the race (overall / GT3) in front of the #911 Porsche and the #16 Audi, #50 Ferrari 488 and the #912 Porsche. Congratulations. Didn't have the same thrill of other 12+ hour races, then again, was a good background fishtank to continuously look at.

Bummed to see the suspension trouble remove KPAX from contention so early. Excellent race by Phoenix. Well deserved win.

Nice little long race to fill up December with for sure. The field is what it is I guess. I lost interest when KPax got into trouble. Watching the race once its dark is impossible though. They need to start it earlier to have more daylight racing in the future
