I voted Force India, 4th & 5th is a very good result for them. (and I do like to vote for the less obvious choices)

Mercedes. Inspired strategy with the virtual safety car and also putting Lewis on the softer and faster tyre for the fightback with Ferrari.

Mercedes. They lured Ferrari into making that first tyre stop, then pitted Hamilton under the VSC. Shame about Bottas.

For the 2nd time in a row I have to hand this one to Force India for scoring decent points with BOTH cars and they are hot on Red Bull's tail now.

Force India for being Best of the Rest and the first team to get two cars to the finish.
Mercedes would have been highly deserving for their strategy, pit-stops and outright performance, but they lost it due to an engine failure. "Strangled cat": love it! Ferrari pulled off the PR coup of the race. Very nice, but not relevant to the racing. Honda won Quote of the Race: Honda: "The car stopped due to an oil leak." Alonso: "It was coming out through the hole in the engine." Not original, I know, as it was originally coined by Peugeot and Martin Brundle. But still funny. |

Ferrari for bringing the distraught Kimi / Ferrari fan to the paddock. Granted, the kid "missed" half the race, but this is what F1 and all sports need to be doing: creating lifelong fans at a young age. Success.

Mercedes for engineering an engine to last exactly 4 races, not a race more.

cant decide between Merc and Ferrari...both brought update packages and both are still neck and neck.
its been so long since this has happened, im honestly a bit surprised either team even remembers the intricacies of strategy and competition. |

Force India (again) - another double points finish - they're banking themselves a handy amount of points. Kudos also to Sauber for getting their dog of a car into the points. Only McLaren are pointless now....

Force India for punching well above their weight.....and budget! Honourable mention to Ferrari for proving that there are human hearts beating there.....even if there was PR value in it!

Mercedes came away with the goods after many other teams update improvements were put to the test.
