Looks like I'll be transferred back to the UK either today or tomorrow to continue recovery. I'll try very hard to keep people updated on progress and be active elsewhere to make sure you don't think I've faded away. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the update Ian and hopefully you'll be on your way home today. So safe journey for that. We'll be missing you over the next few days and we'll raise a glass or three to you at the meet. Hopefully you can start your preparations for Le Mans 2018 once you get home....! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Good to hear and I'm sure you're glad to be heading home, but I'm sure you also wish you could be going the other direction

Amazing news! I was worried about your spinal injury, fortunately you're already on feet. That's great. I personally know very well what's a spinal injury and how it can be devastating for everyone involved. I suffered a car accident 12 years ago and have been paraplegic since then.
Hope you get well soon and fully recover from your accident. |

Back home now, many thanks for all the messages of support and whatever else you wrote on the brace at the meeting, it was a very different le mans this year, more restrained than usual, the heat not helping. Glad to see you up Ian and wearing the traditional meet t shirt. Once they let me drive again will be up to see you.

Nice to see you standing up and giving news. Bah, you know, this was a transition race, the weather was very, very hot. I think you didn't miss to many things. (I wonder if these usual arguments will comfort you )
See you in several months for the next one ! |
