Who decides who should be there?
I would like to know more about Thurday and Friday's Press Conferences ahead of each GP. Who decides the drivers and technical directors to attend the conferences? Is it by random/decided on who had the most news value/voluntraily(though i dobut this much)?

I don't know on what basis are they chosen, but it's FIA who choses them. Anbd yes, they face a fine if they don't attend...
