In case he doesn’t win in Macau you might suspect the excuses story is already half prepared to be released at the same time as the story who did win. Shows why McLaren aren’t likely to get back to the top any time soon, and not before they find a leader who can replace Rob Dennis. |

the excuse for the quali race (other than a dodgy start) was tyre related - did everyone do a tyre test before sending the cars out this year like they did with the pirelli tyre last year? |

Well, Pedro Piquet was sixth in both races. And Sacha seventh in the main race. |

What happened in the incident between Sette Camara and Habsburg? Can't see the race and only read reports...

I bet the Dear Old Barry Bland must be proud of his achievement (If F3 has been racing at Macau for so long it is mostly because of him) , what a race that was

This year's race is a classic one even though the lowest entries since 1983, but the race was filled with different excitements. Many drivers showed their talents and techniques in the race

Sette Camara took too a tight line and lost the back on entry to go straight to the wall much earlier. VWs much quicker than Mercs who only had a chance in the tow. Those “reliability” upgrades paying off again. |
